Actively dialogue to grasp and promptly resolve people's recommendations

In 2018, the Steering Committee for implementing the democratic regulations of Do Luong district had many solutions and achieved good results. Regarding the type of democracy in communes and towns, thanks to good mobilization, the whole district mobilized 183.7 billion VND to build new rural areas, of which people donated 5,720 m²land and 16,600 working days, thereby completing the target of 5 communes reaching the finish line; more and more construction items invested by people are supervised by the community supervision board, thus limiting errors and creating trust for the people.

For administrative agencies, public service units and enterprises, the district continues to seriously implement the contents of democratic regulations according to regulations, strengthen the application of information technology, fully implement the contents and regulations on conferences of workers, civil servants and employees, supplement and review the regulations on labor management, salaries and social insurance contributions for employees. In parallel with leadership and direction, the district has established a number of inspection and supervision teams for the work of democratic regulations at the grassroots level...

In addition to the above advantages, in 2018, there were still some limitations in the area when there were some recommendations related to environmental pollution in the residential community, some businesses and units were not interested in building regulations for grassroots operations, did not conduct good dialogue with employees, signed collective labor agreements...

At the working session, after listening to the self-inspection report of representatives of Lam Son commune and Do Luong district, representatives of the working delegation and members of the Steering Committee for the district's democratic regulations gave comments and added some contents for the Steering Committees of the commune and district to pay attention to in the process of leading and implementing the democratic regulations at the grassroots level.

Concluding the working session, comrade Tran Van Hung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper basically agreed with the report assessing the district's results in implementing the democratic regulations in 2018 and the expected key program content in 2019. However, he also noted that the District Steering Committee needs to closely follow the content of the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example in 2019, accordingly the main content is Uncle Ho's ideology of "being close to the people and respecting the people" to carry out tasks at the grassroots level; actively dialogue with the people to discover issues of concern to the people, make recommendations, proactively resolve issues under their authority and promptly make recommendations to superiors for comments on handling and resolving issues related to the authority of the province and ministries and branches./.
