Nghe An Provincial Youth Union receives and gives support goods to people in flood-hit areas

On the morning of November 1, at the Provincial Youth Union office, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union received 1,000 life jackets from Quang Binh Provincial Youth Union; 300 life jackets and 1,000 boxes of instant noodles from Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union - Young Entrepreneurs Association; Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union including life jackets and necessities; Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union 01 motorboat, 01 canoe, 100 gifts including necessities.

On the morning of November 1, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union directly presented 2 canoes to Thanh Chuong District Youth Union. In addition,Nghe An Provincial Youth UnionSupported with 500 more boxes of instant noodles, 2,000 loaves of bread and 500 life jackets.

In Hung Nguyen district, representatives of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union went to My Thanh hamlet, Xuan Lam commune (Hung Nguyen), a hamlet completely isolated by floods, to present 10 gifts and life jackets to households (each gift worth 250,000 VND) and necessities to families in especially difficult circumstances affected by the recent floods in Hung Nguyen district.

The second group gave 10 million VND in cash, 200 life jackets, 50 boxes of instant noodles, 5 jars of water and other necessities to the people of Chau Nhan commune who were flooded.

Previously, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee promptly visited and encouraged families affected by floods, including 200 boxes of instant noodles, 50 boxes of water and other necessities in Hung Yen Bac commune, Hung Nguyen district; supported more than 500 life jackets for Hung Nguyen district; supported 60 life jackets for people in Nghi My commune, Nghi Loc district and presented 200 boxes of instant noodles, 40 boxes of milk, and 16 gifts to people in Thanh Mai commune, Thanh Chuong district.

In the past time, with the spirit of pioneering, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed the Youth Union branches to promptly mobilize local volunteer youth teams to help localities clean up the environment, collect waste, clean up the grounds of cultural houses, schools, public places, support people to overcome damage, and clean up the environment after floods. This is one of the practical activities of the Youth Union chapters at all levels to support people in preventing, fighting and recovering from floods.
