Nghe An Provincial Youth Union deploys 'Plan to support youth affected by Covid-19 pandemic'

Implementing Plan No. 434 -KH/TWĐTN-CNĐT dated October 22, 2021 of the Central Youth Union Secretariat on "Organizing activities to support youth, workers, and laborers to return to work in industrial parks and export processing zones", the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee issued the "Plan to organize activities to support employment for youth and young workers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Nghe An province" on November 2, 2021.

Accordingly, after conducting surveys and updating information on job search needs of union members, youth, and young workers, the Standing Committees of the District, City, and Town Youth Unions implemented 6 key support activities.

Specifically, it will connect investors and employers to prioritize recruiting workers to work at factories and industrial parks operating locally.

Second, support workers to create jobs on the spot and find jobs locally through forms of guidance and advice for young people to access preferential loans, promote the effectiveness of the "Youth for Economic Development" Club in connecting and sharing experiences in starting and establishing businesses locally...

Third, organize social security activities, give "Social Security Bags" to families and people in difficult circumstances, who have lost their jobs due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, continue to effectively implement the program "Sharing with children, joining hands to overcome the pandemic" for families of young people, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances who have to return to their hometowns.

Fourth, promote the use of digital technology in consulting, connecting, and introducing jobs for young people such as building information pages and websites to provide job needs and recruitment of companies and businesses; organize online forums, online job consulting and introduction to exchange, share, and connect between workers and employers.

Fifth, call for and mobilize social resources to support and accompany young people, workers, and laborers to return to work in big cities through free transportation support, organizing the "Supporting the Return Day" Program...

Sixth, coordinate to connect and introduce free and cheap accommodation locations with many preferential policies for young people and young workers when they return to work through teams, groups, and local Associations in the southern provinces and major provinces and cities across the country.

The above solutions are chaired by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies; the Youth Union of Provincial Enterprises; the District, City, Town Youth Unions and affiliated Youth Union units to implement from the date of issuance of the plan.
