Nghe An province adjusts social distancing measures in many localities

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision to continue implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 for the following localities: Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan and Cua Lo Town. For Vinh City, Directive 16 will apply, while Hung Hoa Commune will apply Directive 15.

On the afternoon of September 5, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision No. 3243 on establishing isolation and social distancing areas to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. The decision was issued based on the direction of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on the same afternoon.

According to the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the implementation of Decision No. 3090/QD-UBND of the province on supplementing a number of urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic will be changed to implementing Directive 16 of the Prime Minister for Vinh City. In particular, Hung Hoa commune will be changed to implementing Directive No. 15/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2021 of the Prime Minister. The time of application is from 00:00 on September 6, 2021.

Continue to implement social distancing according to Directive 16CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister for the following localities: Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan and Cua Lo Town.

Switch to social distancing according to Directive No. 15/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020 of the Prime Minister for the districts: Do Luong, Quynh Luu and Hoang Mai Town. Applicable time from 00:00 September 6, 2021.

Switch to applying measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic according to Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated April 24, 2020 of the Prime Minister for Thai Hoa town; districts: Nghia Dan, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Que Phong, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son. The provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control requested the Provincial Steering Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to direct the provincial functional agencies to closely coordinate with the Steering Committees for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of districts, cities and towns to continue to resolutely implement epidemic prevention and control work, ensuring people's lives and social stability.

The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of districts, cities and towns shall, based on the epidemic situation in the area, proactively propose to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Commander of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center to decide on specific issues according to Official Dispatch No. 07-CV/BCĐ dated September 3, 2021 of the Provincial Steering Committee.

As of the end of September 5, the province has recorded1,686 patients with Covid-19in 21 localities: Vinh City: 600, Yen Thanh: 196, Dien Chau: 164, Quynh Luu: 146, Nam Dan: 73, Cua Lo Town: 73, Nghi Loc: 64, Ky Son: 62, Hung Nguyen: 60, Que Phong: 40, Do Luong: 41, Tuong Duong: 29, Tan Ky: 24, Nghia Dan: 24, Hoang Mai Town: 22, Con Cuong: 16, Thanh Chuong: 16, Anh Son: 15, Quy Hop: 14, Thai Hoa Town: 06, Quy Chau: 01.
