Vinh City: Death Anniversary of King Tran Quoc Tuan
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 29 (August 20 of the lunar calendar), Vinh City People's Committee solemnly held the 718th death anniversary of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan at the Tran Hung Dao Temple relic (Doi Cung ward, Vinh city).
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, associations, departments, branches, and organizations of the city, and a large number of people coming to perform spiritual ceremonies at the Temple.

Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (from Tuc Mac village, Nam Dinh) is a national hero revered by the people; a great cultural figure in Vietnamese history; a great general of the Tran Dynasty, awarded the title of National Duke, Dai Vuong.
His life and career were closely linked to the resistance war against the Yuan-Mongol invaders to maintain national independence. His whole life he devoted to the country's military art with the heroic works of literature "Van Kiep Bi Tong Truyen Thu" "Hich Tuong Si"... which are still preserved to this day.
He is the one who had many famous sayings expressing the spirit of the nation in the face of foreign invasion.

Together with the people of the whole country, the 718th anniversary of the death of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan in Vinh City was solemnly held with the following ceremonies: flower offering ceremony; grand ceremony, proclamation reading, incense offering ceremony.

This is a spiritual and cultural activity that helps people understand more about the life and career of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan.
