Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Owner of a seafood restaurant said: At the beginning of the hot season this year, I imported nearly 1 billion worth of goods, most of which were high-value fresh seafood. Immediately after learning that I had to temporarily close my business, I counted the remaining food in the store and mobilized my staff to post on social networking sites to sell at reasonable prices. If there is any leftover, I will call on family and friends to join in buying or keep it for later use.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, a restaurant owner, shared: "Although the store had to close, the owner was still allowed to sell take-out, so the remaining food, besides selling a part, I also kept the rest in cold storage so that I could process and sell online. Only the imported beer and soft drinks could not be returned to the dealer, so I had to sell them at a cheap price to anyone in need or wait until I couldbusinesswill be brought back to sell again (if still in expiry date)".

With the permission to operate take-out businesses, many shops have proactively contacted shippers to increase online sales and maintain their source of income when the stores have to close due to the epidemic.

The implementation time starts from 0:00 on June 8, 2021.
