Test results showed that 11 people were infected with Covid-19. Of these, 2 were F2 cases from the same family in the locked-down area of Block 14, Le Loi Ward; the remaining 9 cases were from two families in Hamlet 4, Hung Chinh Commune.
Previously, in the third large-scale sampling campaign, medical staff tested more than 320,000 people and detected 17 F0 cases. This time, only more than 46,000 people were sampled but 11 F0 cases were detected, a fairly high rate. Thus, after 4 large-scale sampling campaigns, Vinh City has detected 111 F0 cases to separate from the community.
Discussing this issue, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh said that there are still patients in the community. Therefore, in the next few days, the 5th large-scale testing campaign will continue. "This time, the sampling area will be narrower. Only focus on high-risk areas. Screening samples will be taken until no more cases are detected," said the head of Nghe An Department of Health.
