Vinh City fined many people for jogging and walking without wearing masks.
(Baonghean.vn) - Through inspection, the functional forces of wards in Vinh City have drawn up records to handle a number of cases of jogging and walking in public places without wearing masks.
On the afternoon of May 6, the authorities and functional forces of Truong Thi ward inspected the implementation of Covid-19 epidemic prevention measures in the area, focusing on crowded areas such as Ho Chi Minh Square and around Goong Lake.

The inspection process showed that most people were aware of wearing masks as prescribed to prevent the epidemic. The number of people exercising and walking around the Square and Goong Lake has decreased compared to the previous days. However, there are still a few people who do not wear masks.
Truong Thi ward authorities have drawn up records of two cases, one of which was administratively fined 2 million VND, the other was warned because the offender was under 18 years old.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tien - Chairman of Truong Thi Ward People's Committee said: "In the coming time, Truong Thi Ward will increase its forces to continue to inspect and handle violations of regulations on epidemic prevention in public areas, ensuring safety for people".
Implementing the direction of Vinh City People's Committee, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ha Huy Tap Ward also promptly directed the establishment of 2 delegations including leaders of the People's Committee, militia, police, urban rules team, civil defense, health, justice and socio-political organizations of the ward, to conduct mobile patrols to remind and handle cases of intentional violations of Covid-19 epidemic prevention work in the area. On May 6, 2021, the working group of Ha Huy Tap Ward handled 2 cases with a fine of 1 million VND/case.
Previously, on May 4, the People's CommitteeVinh citydirect wards, communes, and functional forces to strictly punish people who do not wear masks in public places to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.
