Giving gifts to local people
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 16, organizations and unions in the province had many practical activities to support the poor, such as giving Tet gifts in Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky; Con Cuong and Que Phong districts.

Charity Fund(VinGroup Corporation) and Investor magazine have coordinated to organize the 2021 Tet gift giving program forpoor peoplein Thanh Chuong district.
Through the program, 500 Tet gifts were given to the poor throughout the district (each gift worth 600 thousand, including 500 thousand VND in cash and 1 box of cakes worth 100 thousand VND). The total amount of gifts given to the poor was 300 million VND.

Nghe An Traditional Martial Arts Association, Youth Union, Women's Union, Tan Ky District Police Union in coordination with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front of Nghia Hanh Commune (Tan Ky) organized gift giving to 40 poor households and 10 near-poor households in the commune tocelebrate TetLunar New Year 2021, each gift is worth 500,000 VND, the total gifts are 25,000,000 VND. The gifts from agencies and units have helped the poor have a warmer and more prosperous Tet.

Van Son Commune Youth Union(Do Luong) gave gifts to students and people in difficult circumstances in Don Phuc commune (Con Cuong).
Here, the members presented 60 warm uniforms and 400 notebooks to students of Don Phuc Secondary School. They also presented 20 cotton blankets, 20 warm coats, 400 kg of rice, 40 boxes of instant noodles, and 40 gifts including cooking oil, fish sauce, soup powder, MSG, and sugar to the people of Phuc village. On this occasion, the group also went to Hong Dien village to present 4 gifts including blankets, mosquito nets, instant noodles, warm coats, etc.

Nghe An Northwest Regional General HospitalCoordinated with Tri Le Border Guard Station to organize a charity program with the theme "Warm winter border love" in Tri Le commune (Que Phong).
Here, poor patients and policy families were examined, prescribed and given free medicine by doctors for 350 subjects and given 60 gifts including warm blankets, clothes and cash with a total value of nearly 150 million VND.
