The Provincial People's Committee listened to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs present the Project to build a memorial for martyrs in Nghe An province. Accordingly, based on the survey results, opinions at the workshop and the practical situation, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and submitted to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for approval to choose the type of construction of a memorial for martyrs in Nghe An province as a Martyrs Temple.

In addition, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs also proposed to choose the area southeast of Dung Quyet Mountain (Trung Do Ward, Vinh City) to build the project. The subjects worshiped at the Nghe An Province Martyrs Memorial are martyrs from Nghe An and other localities who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, protecting the Fatherland, and for the noble international duty.

The project is expected to be built on an area of ​​2.7 hectares, with a total investment, including compensation and site clearance costs, estimated at about 80 billion VND. Of which, the budget of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs is 30 billion VND, the provincial budget is 35 billion VND, and the Gratitude Fund and Social Mobilization Fund is 15 billion VND. The implementation period is from 2022 to 2025.

After listening to the opinions of the departments and branches, the Provincial People's Committee unanimously approved and will submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for consideration and decision. The Provincial People's Committee also sought opinions from members of the Provincial People's Committee on 4 contents of the project.

Next, the Provincial People's Committee also approved the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on a number of specific mechanisms and policies to support Cua Lo Town in socio-economic development in the 2021-2025 period. After being approved, the Provincial People's Committee will submit it to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration, before submitting it to the Provincial People's Council for decision according to its authority.

The content of the draft Resolution is to adjust the land use fee regulation rate for the town budget and wards in the area for land use fees, after deducting the compensation, site clearance and infrastructure investment costs; Support Cua Lo town with 3,000 tons of cement to upgrade and build roads, irrigation works, and model residential areas.

In addition, it is proposed to allocate 100 billion VND/year for urban infrastructure, environment and other support sources to carry out rescue and emergency work at sea, tourism festivals, environmental sanitation, tree and grass care... in Cua Lo town.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee also approved the draft Decision amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation issued together with Decision No. 12/2028/QD-UBND dated March 2, 2018 of the Provincial People's Committee promulgating regulations on auctioning land use rights to allocate land with land use fees or lease land in the province; draft Project on developing the Provincial Radio and Television Station towards digital transformation, period 2021-2025./.
