4 Chinese people illegally entered the country and escaped from quarantine in Nghe An

On the afternoon of March 18, a leader of Hung Nguyen District Police said that the unit had just sent officers to Ky Anh District to receive two Chinese men who had escaped from the quarantine area. The identities of these two people were identified as Zhu Bing Zhan (born in 1995) and Huang Chao Xiang (born in 1994).
"At around 8 p.m. on March 17, four Chinese people took advantage of the darkness to escape, but two of them were discovered and arrested on the spot. The remaining two managed to run out to the main road and catch a bus heading south," the leader added.

Immediately, Hung Nguyen District Police sent a notice to Ha Tinh Provincial Police. Upon receiving the information, Ha Tinh Traffic Police increased their forces and set up additional checkpoints on National Highway 1A to arrest these two people.

At 1:00 a.m. on March 18, Patrol and Control Team 61 discovered a car with license plate 51G - 869.32 driven by Phan Thanh Trung (born in 1985), residing in Long Binh, Long Chanh, Go Cong town (Tien Giang) traveling in the North - South direction with suspicious signs, so they stopped the car for inspection.

Upon inspection, the police discovered that Zhu Bing Zhan and Huang Chao Xiang were on the run and were being pursued by the police, so they took measures to arrest and temporarily detain the vehicle.

After the arrest, the Traffic Police of Ha Tinh Province prepared a file and handed it over to Hung Nguyen District Police for handling according to regulations.

Previously, on March 9,53 Chinese people entered the country illegallywere discovered in Nghe An province when they rented a sleeper bus to travel from Hanoi to the South. After having their samples taken for testing and statements taken to serve the investigation, this group of people were quarantined at the Hung Nguyen District Medical Center.
