63 individuals won prizes in the contest to learn about traffic safety laws
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 18, at Le Hong Phong High School (Hung Nguyen district), Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the contest "Learning about Traffic Safety Law and providing and using information on the Internet" online on Nghe An Provincial Electronic Information Portal in 2023.
Attending the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the contest were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Hung Nguyen District People's Committee.
The online contest "Learning about Traffic Safety Law and Providing and Using Information on the Internet" on Nghe An Provincial Electronic Information Portal in 2023 will take place for 4 weeks, starting at 8:00 a.m. on October 23 and ending at 8:00 a.m. on November 20.
This is the 7th year Nghe An province has organized the contest with the aim of improving the quality and effectiveness of legal education on traffic safety, awareness of self-compliance with laws on traffic safety and order, and culture of traffic participants; contributing to reducing violations of traffic safety laws, traffic accidents and forming a culture of behavior when participating in traffic.
Along with that, the contest aims to raise awareness among people, especially students, about legal regulations in managing, providing and using information on the Internet, social networks, building culture and orienting how to handle issues on social networks...
At the end of this year’s contest, there were more than 2 million contestants. The contestants came from many different backgrounds such as officials, civil servants, and public employees at the provincial and district levels; students, and freelance workers. Of these, students and teachers at high schools accounted for the majority.
Speaking at the Closing and Awarding Ceremony, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the departments, branches, agencies, units, schools, students in the whole province for seriously implementing and responding to the contest; promoting information and propaganda work so that all people know and participate, thereby creating a strong change in people's awareness of voluntarily complying with the law on traffic safety and order and awareness in providing, using and exploiting information on the Internet in accordance with the law, culturally, healthily and practically for themselves and society.
Some active units with a high number of candidates and good test quality, maintained consistently throughout the 4 weeks of the exam, include: Provincial-level cadres, civil servants and public employees: Provincial Police, Department of Health, Department of Education and Training, Provincial People's Procuracy; District-level cadres, civil servants and public employees: Do Luong, Quynh Luu, Thanh Chuong, Dien Chau, Nam Dan, Tuong Duong districts, Vinh city; Student group: Vinh University, Bac Nghe An College of Economics and Technology, Nghe An University of Electricity; High school students group: Nguyen Canh Chan, Dang Thuc Hua, Thanh Chuong 3 (Thanh Chuong district); Quynh Luu 2, Quynh Luu 4 (Quynh Luu district); Nguyen Truong To (Vinh city); Do Luong 3 (Do Luong district).
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 63 contestants with a total of 64 prizes (1 contestant won 2 prizes); awarded prizes and presented Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives that won "Weekly Competition Prize" and 4 collectives that won "Collective Prize".
These are the units with a high number of contestants, good quality entries and many individuals winning awards in the 4 weeks of the contest.
