The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee adjusted and supplemented the preparation of the Political Report and Congress documents.
On the morning of December 30, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in December 2024.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee listened to and commented on the progress report and adjusted and supplemented the preparation of the Political Report Document of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Pursuant to the Central's guidance, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Plan No. 280-KH/TU dated October 18, 2024 on summarizing specialized and in-depth topics to serve the drafting of Congress documents.
The Provincial Party Standing Committee assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, advisory agencies assisting the Provincial Party Committee and a number of Party delegations and Party committees to summarize, evaluate and develop 45 thematic reports; along with that, provincial-level departments, branches and socio-political organizations summarize and evaluate the results of implementing tasks of sectors and fields in the period of 2020-2025, and propose tasks and solutions for the period of 2026-2030.
As of December 20, 2024, 26/45 thematic reports have been completed; 19/45 thematic reports have been developed, are seeking opinions from leaders of agencies and units and will be completed before December 31, 2024.
After the Provincial Party Executive Committee agreed on the detailed Outline, the Editorial Team advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to issue Official Dispatch No. 3208-CV/TU, dated October 22, 2024, requesting the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Delegation of the Provincial People's Council, the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at the provincial level to base on the Outline to develop a report to serve the preparation of the Provincial Party Congress Documents.
Based on the summary reports of sectors and fields, and in-depth thematic reports of departments and branches, the Department of Planning and Investment has chaired and advised on the first draft of the Political Report, including the socio-economic, defense, security and foreign affairs sections; the Provincial Party Committee Office is synthesizing reports on Party building and the political system.
Based on the direction of the Central Committee and General Secretary To Lam, the Editorial Team assisting the Document Subcommittee proposed adjusting the structure and editing method of the Political Report and preparing documents for the Congress.
Specifically, the section on evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the 19th Congress was edited concisely and highly summarized, accounting for about 1/3 of the report. The section on goals, targets, tasks, and solutions was edited more carefully, clearly defining the orientations and key tasks, specifically identifying important tasks and resources to be implemented during the term, accounting for 2/3 of the report.
In addition, review the Outline, research, update, and add new viewpoints and contents according to the direction of the Central Committee and the General Secretary to the draft Political Report. Direct the development of draft projects and key plans for the 2025-2030 term, in parallel with the process of preparing Congress documents. After the Congress, complete, promulgate, and organize implementation immediately.
Adjust the progress and steps of document preparation in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee and plan to adjust the schedule of regular meetings of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in 2025 at the beginning of each month.
The Congress Document Subcommittee adjusts and supplements the plan to prepare documents for the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, in which by January 2025, it will submit to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for comments on the first draft of the Political Report; submit to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for comments on the second draft of the Political Report at the regular meeting of the first quarter of 2025.
At the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee listened to and commented on the draft Plan for social supervision and criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and socio-political organizations in 2025; and approved the policy of receiving aid for projects.
Report on the implementation results of Plan No. 233-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on leadership, direction, review, and handling of difficulties, backlogs, and violations in the implementation of investment projects and the management, operation, and use of the state budget in the province; draft Report summarizing Party building work in 2024; draft Work Program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in 2025.
