Arrested subject driving motorbike at high speed carrying 5 kg of drugs

In December 2022, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Police discovered a drug trafficking ring from the border of Huong Son district (Ha Tinh) to Nghe An for retail sale. A special project was established to combat and destroy it.

After a period of persistent monitoring, the Task Force determined that on February 21, the subjects would receive a large quantity of drugs from Huong Son district (Ha Tinh) to Vinh city (Nghe An) for consumption. The Task Force decided to crack the case.

At 9:30 p.m. the same day, after receiving the drugs, the subject rode a motorbike at high speed towards Cua Nam ward, Vinh city. The task force coordinated with professional units to deploy a plan to successfully arrest Nguyen Dinh Hung (born in 1989), residing in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An for the act of "Illegal drug trafficking". The seized evidence was 5kg of crystal meth.

At the investigation agency, Hung confessed that he had colluded with other subjects to buy and retail drugs in Vinh City and Ho Chi Minh City to make a profit. Currently, the case is being expanded./.
