Caught 2 addicts buying drugs to use and sell for profit

On June 6, Lieutenant Colonel Lu Ngoc Anh - Captain of the Criminal Police, Economic and Drug Police Team of Quy Chau District Police said that through professional work, the Team had obtained information: From April 2019, in Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district, a number of subjects often went to Tri Le and Que Phong communes to buy drugs to bring to Quy Chau district for consumption.

The team established Project 619MT to focus on the fight to clarify. During the monitoring process, the Project Board identified two subjects, Lo Van Ha, born in 1982, and Lu Van Thai, born in 1990, both residing in Lim village, Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district, who were drug addicts. These two subjects often colluded with subjects in Tri Le commune, Que Phong to buy drugs for Quy Chau consumption.
At 5:20 a.m. on June 6, 2019, two subjects Lo Van Ha and Lu Van Thai rode a motorbike carrying drugs from Tri Le through Chau Phong commune to Tan Lac town.
When arriving at Bu Xen slope area in Chau Hanh commune, Quy Chau district, the subjects were controlled and caught red-handed by the ambush team. The seized evidence was 79 grams of heroin along with some other evidence such as motorbikes, cards, and phones.

At the investigation agency of Quy Chau District Police, the two subjects Ha and Thai confessed that the above drugs were bought by Ha and Thai for use and trading for profit.
