Caught red-handed stealing and destroying property at the relic site
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 17, Thanh Chuong District Police said they were detaining Nguyen Van Ngoc for theft and property destruction.
Previously, Thanh Huong Commune Police, Thanh Chuong District received a report from the Management Board of the Hoa Quan Palace Relic Site (Hamlet 4, Thanh Huong Commune) about a subject regularly breaking into the Relic Site to steal donation money.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Commune Police quickly conducted verification and used synchronous professional measures to investigate and clarify.

At about 01:25 on February 14, 2023, Thanh Huong Commune Police, Thanh Chuong District discovered and arrested Nguyen Van Ngoc (born in 1993), residing in Thanh Huong Commune, Thanh Chuong District, for stealing and destroying property at the Hoa Quan Palace Relic Site (Hamlet 4, Thanh Huong Commune). The seized evidence included 06 security camera lenses and 163,000 VND.
During the struggle, Ngoc confessed that he took advantage of the late night to break into the relic site to steal property.
To avoid detection by authorities, the subject sabotaged surveillance camera equipment.
Currently, Thanh Chuong District Police are detaining Nguyen Van Ngoc to continue investigating and handling according to legal regulations./.
