Temporarily detain a group of 9X thieves specializing in snatching in Lua district

On the afternoon of April 22, the Yen Thanh District Police Department issued a decision to prosecute and detain 4 suspects for robbery and property consumption in the 419 CG project.

The four subjects include Tran Duc Anh (born in 1996), Doan Van Phu (born in 1997), Thai Van Nhan (born in 1990) residing in Yen Moi hamlet, Long Thanh commune and the subject who consumed the property is Ngo Van Hoang (born in 1992) in hamlet 2, Tang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

In just the first 3 months of 2019, this group of 9X thieves committed dozens of robberies in Yen Thanh district. Their method was to use motorbikes, search for "prey" who were women, then approach and commit the robbery and then speed away.

Thefts often take place on deserted roads, between 11am and 2pm and 10pm and 2am, so the victims cannot chase them in time and it is difficult to get help from people around.

The subjects had successfully committed 12 robberies before being arrested.

When arresting the subjects, the authorities seized 12 Iphone and Samsung phones, 2 motorbikes and are continuing to investigate and expand the case.
