Arrested Vietnamese expatriates in Germany and a group of men and women holding a 'drug party' in a large hotel in Vinh City
(Baonghean.vn) - Having just returned to Vietnam from Germany, Son rented a hotel and invited a group of friends to hold a "drug party" to celebrate. At the time of arrest, this group of subjects were using the synthetic drug MDMA.
On March 23, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Nghe An Police said that the unit had just raided a hotel room in Hung Binh Ward (Vinh City), catching a group of young men and women using drugs to "fly and shake".
Previously, through monitoring and understanding the situation, detectives discovered that a number of young men and women often rented large hotels to gather and have fun, organizing illegal drug use, greatly affecting security and order.
On the evening of March 10 and early morning of March 11, detectives reported that a group of young men had rented two rooms at a large hotel in Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City and were using synthetic drugs. Loud music was coming from rooms 905 and 906 on the 9th floor. Immediately, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department held a quick meeting to come up with a plan to arrest them.

At around 2am the same day, a task force blocked the security camera system monitoring the entire building, restrained the receptionists and security guards, and prevented information from leaking. The remaining group split into two groups and simultaneously broke into rooms 905 and 906, discovering five subjects, including three men and two women, wearing revealing clothes and high on drugs, swaying and spinning to loud music and colorful lights.
During the arrest, the subjects fought back fiercely. However, with the spirit of fighting to the end against all types of criminals, the detectives successfully controlled and arrested the subjects. The identities of the subjects were quickly clarified, namely: Bui Thi Tuy (born in 1985), residing in block 6A, Cua Nam ward; Ho Thi Lanh (born in 1986), residing in Vinh My block, Vinh Tan ward; Le Hai Duong (born in 1991), residing in block 1, Le Loi ward; Nguyen Lam Son (born in 1965), a German Vietnamese, residing in block 4, Ha Huy Tap ward (belonging to Vinh city) and Phan Sy Phap (born in 1982), residing in hamlet 3, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.
At the police station, the suspects confessed that Nguyen Lam Son was the one who supplied the drugs for the group. Son had just returned to Vietnam from Germany, so the group celebrated by renting a hotel room to have fun. At the time of arrest, the group was using the synthetic drug MDMA. A quick test found that all 5 suspects tested positive for drugs.
Currently, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police has handed over the case to Hung Binh Ward Police to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.
