Little girl plays with fire and sets haystack on fire, whole village panics
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 4, in the heat, people in Hamlet 3, Hung Loi Commune, Hung Nguyen District had to rush to put out a fire in a haystack. The cause of the fire was due to the negligence of a little girl playing with a lighter.
At around 3:30 p.m. on September 4, residents of Hamlet 3, Hung Loi Commune, discovered that a haystack at Mr. Ngo Xuan Giao's house, a resident of the hamlet, suddenly burst into flames in the hot sun, with smoke billowing high. Immediately afterward, on the hamlet's loudspeaker system, the hamlet chief of Hamlet 3 quickly called on residents to come and put out the fire.

Dozens of people in the neighborhood were present at the scene, some scooping water, others using hoses to urgently put out the fire. About 30 minutes later, the fire was under control and extinguished. However, due to late discovery, the straw of 5-6 sao of rice belonging to Mr. Giao's house was burnt to a crisp.
The initial cause was determined to be a 7-year-old girl playing with a lighter that set the straw on fire. It is known that Hung Loi commune does not grow rice this season, so after the fire, Mr. Giao’s family will not have straw to feed their cattle.
