This morning (July 24), in Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An Provincial Military Command held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a boarding school for Nam Giai Primary and Secondary School, Que Phong district. Colonel Pham Van Dong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command chaired the ceremony.

Nam Giai Primary and Secondary School, Que Phong District currently has 21 classes with 356 students, 100% of whom are Thai ethnic. The commune has 3 main schools that have not met national education standards. The system of dining halls, accommodation and classrooms for teachers and students is still lacking, not meeting the conditions for arranging boarding for students. In addition, the students' travel conditions are extremely difficult, the farthest village is 9 km from the commune center.
The canteen of Nam Giai Primary and Secondary School will be solidly built with an area of 400m2.2, with a total amount of 1.8 billion VND taken from the Ministry of National Defense's Poor People's Fund. The project is expected to be completed before December 22, 2020./.
