The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command presented Nghe An province with a statue of Uncle Ho.

(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of April 23, in Vinh City, the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum presented the People's Committee of Nghe An province with a bronze portrait statue of Uncle Ho.

This is an activity on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2021) and International Labor Day (May 1); towards the 131st anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2021), 110 years since Uncle Ho left to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2021).

Attending the awarding ceremony were Major General Bui Hai Son - Acting Head of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board, Commander of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command; Nguyen Van Cong - Director of the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace; and other comrades in the working delegation.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Major General Bui Hai Son expressed that, with the special affection and traditional bond between the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command and Nghe An province, the awarding of the statue of President Ho Chi Minh is an honor and sentiment of the officers, employees and soldiers of the Command towards Uncle Ho's homeland.

The statue of Uncle Ho placed at the Labor Culture House of Nghe An province will contribute to educating the tradition, life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. His image will shine forever, at the same time deepening the sacred feelings, respect and infinite gratitude of generations of Vietnamese people towards him; continuing to promote studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh in his homeland.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province was very pleased to receive the statue of Uncle Ho; at the same time, he sent his thanks to the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum for having special affection for Nghe An.

Nghe An province has chosen the Provincial Labor Culture House - the place where the most important political events of the province are held, as well as historical and cultural events with the participation of many people from all walks of life - to place the statue of Uncle Ho, thereby further spreading the thoughts, morality and style of Uncle Ho.

The Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that the province will continue to receive more attention from the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace to further promote his ideology, morality and style to the people of Nghe An province in particular and the whole country in general.

Next, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace and Nghe An province offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square.
