Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation inspected the Project for Investment, Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Tho Loc Industrial Park (Phase 1) and the Project for Investment, Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Tho Loc Industrial Park - Area B.

The project to invest in construction and infrastructure business of Tho Loc Industrial Park phase 1 has an area of ​​600 hectares. The total investment capital of the project is more than 3,997 billion VND, equivalent to 171.924 million USD. The Provincial People's Committee has submitted the investment policy to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for appraisal, and is expected to submit it to the Prime Minister in October 2022.

The Tho Loc Industrial Park - Zone B infrastructure investment and business project has an area of ​​about 200 hectares, invested by a consortium of Japan Construction Management Joint Stock Company and Pacific Group Joint Stock Company. Currently, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board is coordinating with departments, branches and localities to guide the consortium of investors to prepare project proposal documents.

Affirming that the Southeast Economic Zone is the driving force for the province's development, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung requested Dien Chau district and the Economic Zone Management Board to prepare plans to carry out site clearance work when permitted by competent authorities.

In planning and construction, these two industrial parks must have internal infrastructure connections, and at the same time connect with traffic routes such as National Highway 1A, North-South Expressway and deep-water seaports that will be built in the future.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the Housing and Commercial Service Project in Dien Thanh Commune and the Commercial and Integrated Urban Service Project in Dien Ky Commune. These two projects have a total investment of nearly VND 2,100 billion on an area of ​​over 44.8 hectares.

Currently, the technical infrastructure system such as roads, electricity system, water supply and drainage, landscape trees of the 2 projects have been basically completed. Items such as kindergartens, cultural houses, commercial centers, technical infrastructure areas are in the investment preparation stage.

Next, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the production activities at the Viet Glory footwear factory in Dien Truong commune. The project, invested by Mold Solution Inc, started operating at the end of 2020.

The factory has a total investment capital of 1,012 billion VND in 2 phases, on a land area of ​​18 hectares with a designed capacity of 9.6 million products/year. Currently, the factory is creating jobs for about 6,000 workers with an income of about 6-7 million VND/person/month and is expected to create jobs for about 10,000 workers. To date, the project has paid nearly 11 billion VND to the state budget.

Working with the factory leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the enterprise's production and business activities, contributions to the local budget, and job creation for workers; at the same time, he highly appreciated the support of all levels and sectors to make the project effective, and this is also the common spirit of the province in supporting and resolving difficulties and problems of investors in general and foreign investors in particular.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that during the operation, if enterprises encounter any problems or difficulties, they should report to the relevant authorities and sectors for timely support and resolution. On the other hand, enterprises must also ensure environmental conditions, security and order, care for the rights of workers, and ensure the harmony of interests between the parties.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that businesses will try and strive to implement their production and business plans according to the set goals, try to develop the market to stabilize production, maintain jobs for workers, and contribute more to Dien Chau district in particular and Nghe An province in general.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation also inspected the deer farming model in Dien Hung commune. The whole commune has 135 households raising deer with a total herd of about 1,450 deer, each household raising an average of 10-20 deer.

The family of Mr. Tran Huan (residing in Hung Nghia village) that the delegation visited raised 25 deer, of which 15 were for antlers and 10 were for breeding. On average, each year, Mr. Huyen's family earned more than 400 million VND from raising deer and selling breeding animals.

Dien Hung Commune has identified deer as a key livestock in local agriculture. The commune is directing the establishment of a deer breeding club with the aim of exchanging breeding techniques, building the OCOP brand of deer antlers to increase value, promote product consumption, contribute to the development of deer breeding, create livelihoods and stable income for people.
