Con Cuong summarizes and draws experience from defense zone exercises in 2023

Attending the conference were Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee, and the Director Board.

The 2023 Con Cuong District Defense Zone Exercise took place over 2 days and 1 night, completing all the contents and programs as planned, according to the plan, scenario and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects. The exercise content had highlights in terms of organization, content, and management methods; solving problems in organizing and practicing local defense operations, clearly demonstrated at both the district and commune levels. The Provincial Steering Committee assessed the 2023 Defense Zone Exercise as an excellent completion.

The summary conference also assessed the existing limitations and lessons learned in the exercise, and made plans to overcome them in order to maintain the defense zone and build local armed forces to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new conditions. Through the exercise, it helped cadres at all levels grasp the order of steps in the transition to combat readiness; improve leadership capacity, organization, command, combat service and coordination between agencies, units and localities in the defense zone. Thereby, promoting the strength of the all-people national defense, protecting political security and social order and safety in the locality.

On this occasion, Con Cuong district also commended 10 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2023 defense zone exercise.
