Thai Hoa Water Supply Company invests 16 billion VND to upgrade water quality

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to improve the quality of service for local people, Thai Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company has just invested 16 billion VND to replace water pipes.

In previous years, domestic water was always a problem that worried 80 households, mainly ethnic minorities, in Le Loi block, Quang Tien ward, Thai Hoa town. To have domestic water, people had to go to the river to get water for use.

In particular, the distance between households is quite far, so installing water pipes to each household is a difficult problem. However, now, those worries have ended when the tap water source has been brought to the house.

Similarly, 14 households in Lot 2, Tay Ho II Block, Quang Tien Ward used to mainly use well water, but during drought years, water use had to be extremely economical.

"Now we feel secure when we have clean water delivered to our homes. When summer comes, we won't have to worry about a lack of water for daily use anymore" - Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoa in Tay Ho II Block, Quang Tien Ward happily shared.

Previously, Thai Hoa Water Supply Joint Stock Company invested more than 650 million VND to install thousands of meters of water pipelines; implemented a project to renovate and upgrade the level 1 pipeline system from cast iron to HDPE plastic pipes with a total investment of up to 16 billion VND.

The company is currently continuing to complete the pipeline repair and replacement project; investing in additional equipment and regularly maintaining and repairing in a timely manner. The project will be completed in August 2018.

Up to now, over 90% of households in the ward have access to tap water./.
