On the morning of July 3, National Assembly deputies: Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, State Auditor General; Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Dinh Thi Kieu Trinh - Deputy Head of the Gender Equality Department, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs met with voters of Hung Tan, Hung Thong, Hung Tien and Hung Thang communes of Hung Nguyen district.

At the meeting, there were 9 turns of voters' opinions reflecting and making recommendations to National Assembly delegates.

Voter Tran Van Thu, Hung Tien commune, said that implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 on "Some issues to continue innovating and arranging the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently" is a completely correct policy, especially to solve the problem of having a large number of grassroots civil servants but working ineffectively, causing waste of the budget.

“For the merger of hamlets, each hamlet has at least 400 households or more. This causes many inconveniences for the grassroots because merging hamlets involves many issues, especially the administrative boundaries. The merger of hamlets needs to carefully consider the actual situation,” said Mr. Thu.

Voter Nguyen Trong Tam of Hung Tan commune expressed his excitement at the results of the National Target Program on New Rural Development. However, rural people's income is still low, so in order to have conditions to build infrastructure, more investment and support from the State is needed. "In particular, there should be separate mechanisms and policies for model new rural communes" - voter Tam suggested.

In addition, voters in Hung Nguyen suggested that the Party and the State should have solutions to strictly handle those who take advantage of the situation to incite people to gather and cause disorder in some provinces recently; at the same time, strictly handle acts of corruption and waste that cause loss of public assets.

Voters also suggested that the National Assembly should study regulations on auctioning land use rights because in reality there are many loopholes that cause land prices to rise but the State does not benefit, people who really want to buy land face difficulties, while "land brokers" profit; gasoline and oil prices increase...

Receiving and explaining the opinions and recommendations of voters concerned about the content of merging blocks and hamlets, State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc said: According to Circular 09/12/2017 of the Ministry of Home Affairs on guidelines for organizing activities of villages and residential groups, each hamlet must have at least 400 households or more.

"The provincial National Assembly delegation will take note of voters' recommendations to recommend to the Ministry of Home Affairs to adjust regulations appropriately, especially for special hamlets and blocks," said Mr. Ho Duc Phoc.

Responding to voters' petitions about the continuous increase in gasoline prices, the State Auditor General said that the State Audit organized audits to control gasoline prices; however, gasoline prices still depend on world import prices.

The head of the State Audit Office affirmed: The voters' recommendations will be recommended by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to the Government and relevant ministries and branches to have solutions to stabilize gasoline prices.

Delegate Ho Duc Phoc also responded to other petitions from voters. Previously, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Tran Van Mao informed voters about the results, content, and agenda of the 5th session of the 14th National Assembly.
