(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 9, delegates of the 18th Provincial People's Council, including comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Tuong Duong District Party Committee, met with voters of Luong Minh and Yen Na communes before the regular meeting at the end of 2022 of the Provincial People's Council.

At the conference, voters of the two communes proposed many contents to stabilize people's lives in the area, especially to completely resolve the consequences of the hydropower plant's flood discharge in 2018.

Mr. Vi Van Chau, representing 12 households inLa village, Luong Minh communeaffected by natural disasters and floods in 2018 said that it is currently very difficult, living conditions are temporary, while the majority of people's lives are poor and do not have enough economic conditions to buy land to move to a new place. He requested that authorities at all levels create all conditions to provide land for 12 households to relocate, stabilize their lives, and settle down.

Also in Luong Minh commune, voters reported that the resettlement area for 17 households in Minh Phuong village had been completed a long time ago, but due to cracks occurring above the resettlement area, it was temporarily suspended and people were not allowed to move in. Voters requested the provincial People's Council delegates to give their opinions to the competent authorities to clearly answer whether people can live there or not?

Along with that, voter Luong Minh continued to recommend that all levels and sectors should soon survey and plan Xop Chao village, grant land certificates to people because this is a project subject to relocation affecting the Ban Ve hydroelectric reservoir; build a bridge across Khe Pong so that people and students can easily travel between Xop Chao and Ca Moong villages to get to Xop Pong ferry and travel via Ca Moong - Coi village route to the center of Luong Minh commune; soon deploy construction investment items that have been approved by competent authorities for a long time, but have not been implemented yet: Project: Construction of the main school of Luong Minh Primary School in La village.

Voters of 4 villages including: Dua, Minh Tien, Minh Thanh, Cham Puong, Luong Minh commune continue to petition the State to soon invest in building a hard bridge in Xop Mat village (old) to replace the current suspension bridge for people in 4 villages in Mat stream because this is also an inter-commune and inter-district route with Ky Son, to create conditions for large-tonnage vehicles to transport and trade goods, develop the economy, and reduce poverty for the people.

Mr. Luong Van Le, Xieng Nua village, Yen Na commune, proposed to invest in upgrading infrastructure in the village to prevent landslides. On a general level, voters of Yen Na commune requested that the provincial People's Council delegates give their opinions to the provincial People's Committee to soon upgrade and repair the current seriously degraded Provincial Road 543b.

Voters of Yen Na commune also requested that competent authorities pay attention to finding stable housing solutions for 47 households in Khe O resettlement area; rebuilding the hard bridge for people atBlueprintDue to the hydroelectric dam releasing floodwaters on August 30-31, 2018, the bridge was washed away; the organization conducted a survey to establish a project to build an embankment to prevent landslides in the Khe Chong resettlement area (Ban Ve). On behalf of the provincial People's Council delegates, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu received and clarified voters' opinions; including a plan to stabilize the lives of people affected by natural disasters and hydropower plant floods since 2018, especially the plan proposed by voters to provide cash support for households to find land to build houses.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested Tuong Duong district to soon complete the treatment of cracks in the resettlement area of ​​17 households in Minh Phuong village, Luong Minh commune so that people can move in; at the same time, respond and record people's opinions, especially requesting the district and commune to continue to closely work with people, if beyond their authority, promptly submit to the provincial level to find solutions for people to have production land and production forests so that people's lives can be stabilized and increasingly improved.
