Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters in Vinh City and Thai Hoa Town

On November 14, delegates of the 17th Provincial People's Council, including Mr. Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee and Mr. Cao Tien Trung - Deputy Head of the Economic - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council; delegates of the 21st Vinh City People's Council had a meeting with voters before and after the 12th session of the Provincial People's Council and the 11th session of the City People's Council in Quang Trung ward.

At the meeting, theVoters of Quang Trung ward - Vinh citylistened to the representative of the Provincial People's Council report on the results of implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security of the city; report on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations before and after the 9th session of Quang Trung ward voters; expected content and program of the 12th session of the Provincial People's Council and the 11th session of the City People's Council.

Voters made recommendations on the need to dredge the drainage ditch on Phan Chau Trinh Street, the environmental pollution problem at the Ancient Citadel, the need to quickly resolve the resettlement issue of D2 Quang Trung house, the need to resolve the issue of clean water for the people, etc.

After receiving the opinions of voters, the delegates of the Provincial and Vinh City People's Councils directly responded to a number of opinions and recommendations of voters. At the same time, they recorded the thoughts and aspirations of voters to forward to relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution according to their authority.

On the same day, elected provincial People's Council delegates in Thai Hoa town, including Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa - Director of the Provincial Treasury; Vo Duy Viet - Director of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Tran Van Hung - former member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Phan Thi Thanh Thuy - Chairwoman of the Thai Hoa Town Labor Federation, had a meeting with voters of Long Son ward and Nghia Hoa commune, Thai Hoa town.

At the same time, voters made recommendations to the delegates on issues that need attention, such as: Requesting competent authorities to inspect and review the Ban Mong canal project in Nghia Hoa commune, a project that has been built for a long time but has not yet been put into use, affecting people's lives; the problem of untreated wastewater being discharged directly into the Hieu River, causing environmental pollution; the slow progress in resolving procedures for granting land use right certificates. In addition, voters suggested that there should be a subsidy regime for people infected with Agent Orange of the third generation, a support mechanism for block cadres after the merger...
