Vinh University awarded master's and doctoral degrees to 750 students

After 26 years of being assigned the task of postgraduate training, Vinh University has trained over 300 PhDs and nearly 12,000 masters. In 2018 alone, with 2 entrance exams, 1,050 students were admitted.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang - Vice President of Vinh University said that the university's goal is to train high-quality human resources to serve the sustainable development of the country and the region in the context of the knowledge economy and the 4.0 technology revolution with 5 important characteristics for learners: learning anywhere, learning anytime, personalized learning according to needs, learning to form new working skills and lifelong learning.

Since 2018, the school has applied information technology to master's training by building a Learning Management System (LMS) and E-Learning lectures to support traditional teaching methods.

At the ceremony, Vinh University awarded master's degrees to 720 students and doctoral degrees to 30 graduate students.

On behalf of the school's leadership, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang expressed his hope that the new masters and doctors with basic scientific foundations, in-depth knowledge of their majors, and modern scientific research methods will always be ready to contribute their intelligence to their workplace and to society./.
