Unique waiting room for teachers and students in Nghe An highlands
(Baonghean.vn) - The Khoi Village Primary School, part of Tam Thai Primary School (Tuong Duong - Nghe An) has only 2 classrooms, no waiting room for teachers and no reading room for students. Parents here have contributed bamboo, reeds, and palm leaves to build beautiful, friendly waiting rooms.

| Ms. Lang Thi Thuy, a teacher at Khoi village school, said: "This school is about 6 km from the main school. In previous years, there was no waiting room, so teachers had to stay at local houses to wait for class. There were days when the houses around the school were absent, so the teachers had to wait outside the school yard to go to class. This year, thanks to the parents and people in the village building a waiting room, all the teachers are very happy." |

| Waiting rooms, reading rooms, swings... are all made from locally available materials that are both cheap and easy to find such as: bamboo, palm leaves... All are voluntarily contributed by the people. |
