The majestic appearance of Thanh Liet Temple before the opening day

(Baonghean.vn) - After a recent restoration and embellishment project, Thanh Liet Temple - a national historical and artistic relic in Xuan Lam commune (Hung Nguyen) has a new, spacious appearance, ready for the opening day of the festival.

Thanh Liet Temple is located on the bank of Lam River and was built in the post-Le Dynasty to worship the gods who contributed to protecting the country and protecting the people associated with the river region. After hundreds of years of existence, the temple has seriously degraded. After more than 1 year of restoration and embellishment with a budget of tens of billions of VND, the temple has a new, spacious appearance. Thanh Liet Temple is associated with the famous mussel procession. Thanh Liet Temple Festival is held annually on the 5th and 6th of the second lunar month, expressing the spirit of remembering the source of water, gratitude to the gods, and imbued with the cultural nuances of the river region in the lower Lam River.
