POTENTIAL AND ADVANTAGES

Considering the factors for tourism development, Thanh Chuong is considered a land with many factors and potentials. According to comrade Nguyen Van Chien - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee: Located in the midland and mountainous region, Thanh Chuong is endowed by nature with majestic mountains and forests; a system of rivers and streams winding through fields and villages, creating beautiful scenery. In the area, there are tea islands, Ro River lake; many beautiful waterfalls such as Mua waterfall, Silk waterfall,Liep waterfall, Coi waterfall, Cay Tram waterfall...
Although not yet invested to become a tourist destination, but with its inherent attractiveness, it has "spontaneously" become a destination for many tourists who love to explore and experience. For example, on the tea island (Thanh An commune), on holidays, there are days when 500 - 600 visitors are welcomed; some households earn 10 - 15 million VND per month from boating to take visitors to the tea island.

Or at Liep waterfall (Thanh Son commune), in the summer, every day there are about 300 people in groups of families, agencies, schools coming to visit and experience. Or at Mua waterfall (Ngoc Lam commune), although the traffic is difficult, there are still many people climbing passes and wading streams to see the attraction of this place...
Along with many beautiful landscapes, Thanh Chuong is a countryside with a rich cultural and historical heritage, rich revolutionary tradition, and a dense system of relics. In the district, there are 67 national and provincial relics; 457 relics have been reviewed and listed for protection by the province.
This is a treasure to exploit and develop spiritual tourism. In particular,Bach Ma Temple- National historical relic, the temple is one of the "four sacred animals" of Nghe An, annually attracting many tourists and local people to come and worship and explore the unique architecture of the temple.

THANH CHUONG TOURISM BRAND POSITIONING
Obviously, Thanh Chuong possesses many factors to strongly develop tourism. Recognizing the advantages and on the basis of the strategic orientation of the Central and the province on developing tourism into an important economic sector, entering the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee and the government in Thanh Chuong have built a tourism development program for the period 2021 - 2025 and the following years.
According to comrade Trinh Van Nha - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, this is a comprehensive program in terms of viewpoints, goals as well as tasks and solutions to effectively exploit tourism potential. And development viewpointstourismThanh Chuong's goal is: not to develop "hotly" to negatively impact the ecological environment, or not to trade off the environment for tourism development.
Tourism development must have the participation of the people to ensure sustainable development. For example, when developing tourism on tea islands, people still grow and harvest tea on the islands; villas or other services are only allowed to be planned in the surrounding area, ensuring the preservation of the tea island's landscape.

Comrade Trinh Van Nha also added that Thanh Chuong tourism is "positioned" according to 3 main products: Agricultural eco-tourism associated with discovery and experience; spiritual cultural tourism; community cultural tourism.
To realize those orientations, after the congress until now, the district has focused on preparing conditions such as planning tourist spots; promoting, promoting, calling on investors with financial potential and experience in tourism to conduct surveys.
In particular, the district's policy focuses on attracting investment in 4 tourist destinations: the spiritual cultural tourism area of Bach Ma temple relic cluster; the Cau Cau dam - tea island eco-tourism area; the Song Ro lake tourist area; attracting investment in building cultural space and community tourism of Liep waterfall. At the same time, forming an agricultural tourism route to produce clean oranges and tea. Currently, there are 2 major investors surveying the Cau Cau dam - tea island eco-tourism area and the Song Ro lake tourist area.
The district's "ambition" is to develop and add the above 4 tourist destinations to the Nghe An tourism map. Striving to welcome 80,000 tourists by 2025 and 110,000 by 2030, including 2,000 international visitors" - Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee emphasized.

Along with attracting large investors, Thanh Chuong also encourages organizations and individuals to invest in tourism development according to community tourism models, eco-tourism, agricultural tourism, etc.
