Previously, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a document to stop the medical quarantine for these two apartment buildings from 6 p.m. on October 2. These are two apartment buildings related to a cluster of cases discovered in mid-September, and both apartment buildings were then locked down from September 18. After being locked down, residents living in the apartment buildings were tested many times, but no new cases of infection were detected.
Trung Do Cooperative Apartment has a total of 20 floors, more than 200 households with over 500 people. Meanwhile, CT1A Handico 30 building has 140 households, 3 banks and a number of businesses with a total of nearly 500 people. At the time of lockdown, both buildings had about 1,000 people inside.
Currently, Vinh City still has 3 areas locked down, which are the entire block 2, Vinh Tan ward, locked down since September 25; Thai An Hospital since September 26; Gia Thinh Phat apartment building, Ben Thuy ward since September 26./.
