Delegation of Nghe An province visited and worked with the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany

Joining the delegation were comrades: Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh City People's Council;Comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Hoang Quoc Viet - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Also participating in the working delegation were comrades: Tran Khanh Thuc - Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Bui Duy Son - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Vo Minh The - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

Welcoming and working with the delegation were comrade Vu Quang Minh - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Germany and officials of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation from Nghe An province, and emphasized the significance of the visit in the context of the two countries celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2025). The Ambassador highly appreciated the efforts and proactiveness of Nghe An province in foreign affairs and promoting international cooperation, especially with potential partners in the Federal Republic of Germany.

After reviewing the outstanding milestones in the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh affirmed that the Embassy will continue to promote its role as a bridge, supporting Nghe An to strengthen connections, promote the local image and expand cooperative relations with businesses and organizations in line with the province's strengths and development orientation.

On behalf of the delegation, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu sincerely thanked the Embassy for its thoughtful reception, especially for its active support in connecting and arranging working activities in Germany. In the context of Vietnam - Germany relations continuing to develop positively in many fields, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany will continue to accompany and support Nghe An province in connecting with suitable partners.

Specifically, the province proposed that the Embassy consider and introduce localities with many similarities to promote friendly and economic cooperation; at the same time, act as a bridge with large German enterprises in the fields that the province is prioritizing to call for investment such as: high-tech agriculture, supporting industry, mechanical engineering, agricultural processing, tourism and education and training.

This working trip to Europe is one of the important foreign affairs activities of Nghe An province in 2025, aiming to promote exchange and cooperation activities with European partners, especially the Federal Republic of Germany, while strengthening economic diplomacy and attracting investment to Nghe An.
