Central working delegation inspects election preparation work in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 4, a working delegation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Mr. Ngo Sach Thuc - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front inspected and supervised the election work in Hung Nguyen district. Participating in the working delegation were representatives of the Provincial Election Committee and the Hung Nguyen District Election Committee.

Implement seriously and follow the process
At the meeting, according to the report of the Hung Nguyen District Election Committee, on the basis of studying the Lawelectorand the directive documents of the Central Government, the province, and Hung Nguyen district have been proactively and seriously implemented, ensuring the correct procedures, regulations and progress according to each milestone prescribed for the election work.
The district has established 7 electoral units and 7 district-level election committees; 123 electoral units and 123 commune-level election committees. By March 30, 18/18 communes and towns had also established 123 election teams.

Regarding the election personnel work, based on the number of district People's Council delegates elected for the 2021 - 2026 term of 33; through the first and second rounds of consultation, the number of people on the preliminary list to organize a conference to collect opinions from voters at their place of residence is 62 candidates.
Similar to the commune level, the number of elected delegates is 461; after 2 rounds of consultation, 824 candidates were listed in a preliminary list to receive comments and trust from voters at their place of residence.

Through monitoring at 65 blocks and hamlets, conferences were held to collect voters' opinions (as of March 31) with a large number of voters participating, the highest hamlet had 135 people, the lowest hamlet had 65 people.
Also at the meeting, the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also listened to the Provincial Election Committee report on the progress of election preparations.
The working delegation highly appreciated the province's responsibility and thoughtfulness in preparing for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.

The highlight is the preparation work.human resourcesThe election ensures a high balance, the highest being more than 2.5 times and the lowest being more than 2 times. The proportion of candidates at all 4 levels is higher than the regulation.
According to the second consultation results, the proportion of female candidates for National Assembly deputies is 66.6%; young people 42%; and religious and ethnic groups 33%. At the provincial level, the proportion of female candidates is 41%; young people 32%; and ethnic and religious groups 13.1%.
At the district level, the proportion of women is 43.2%; young people 40.9%; ethnic and religious people 21.6%; non-Party members 12.8%. At the commune level, the proportion of women is 39.5%; young people 41.5%; ethnic and religious people 19.1%; non-Party members 22.2%.

Focus on making accurate voter lists
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Ngo Sach Thuc - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requested the Provincial Election Committee and the Hung Nguyen District Election Committee to continue to focus on and promote propaganda work, raise awareness of responsibilities, rights and obligations of voters in the election, especially fully participating in voting on May 23.
The work of compiling the voter list must be accurate, with special attention paid to closely coordinating with production facilities and industrial zones to grasp the number of workers staying at work on election day to compile the list and organize polling stations, ensuring that all voters exercise their rights. Along with that, attention must be paid to professional training for the election teams; note that the members of the election team must not be the same as the candidates in that election team.
The Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also requested the Provincial Election Committee and the Hung Nguyen District Election Committee to continue directing the organization of the third quality consultation conference to select truly virtuous and talented people to include in the official list for election; at the same time, well implement the stages and procedures after the third consultation conference and organize a safe election day, truly a festival for all people.
