Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs CemeteryBuilt in 1976, it is the largest cemetery that collects the graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos. Up to now, the cemetery has received and cared for nearly 11,000 graves of martyrs from 47 provinces and cities across the country who died on the battlefield in Laos.

This is also the only cemetery in Vietnam named after the two countries Vietnam and Laos and is a symbolic work for the loyal and steadfast solidarity of the two brotherly nations. The sacrifice of these heroes has reminded the next generations to always be proud of the glorious past of the nation, of the special solidarity of the two countries Vietnam and Laos.
