Nearly 300 teachers from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces participated in training on digital transformation in general education.

This is an activity within the framework of the Program for developing teacher training schools to improve the capacity of teachers and managers of general education institutions (ETEP).

In 2020, Vinh University organized a signing ceremony of cooperation agreements with high schools, middle schools and primary schools in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. The school also organized a workshop - Training for teachers of the schools on pedagogical skills to design lectures and practice subjects according to the 2018 General Education Program.

In 2021, implementing Decision 749/QD-TTg dated June 3, 2020 of the Prime Minister approving"National digital transformation program to 2025, vision to 2030", grasping the needs of high schools in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, Vinh University trained nearly 300 teachers of 15 satellite high schools on pedagogical skills to implement digital transformation.

This activity connects Vinh University with satellite high schools through training workshops on technology transfer on digital transformation in education and training; helping high school teachers understand the "National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030", an overview of digital transformation in the field of education and training, and the current status of digital transformation in high schools.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang - Principal, Chairman of the Science and Training Council of Vinh University said: As a pioneer, leading high schools in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, Vinh University has been actively supporting schools in implementing the 2018 General Education Program, introducing new ideas about general education, and teaching activities that approach competencies in accordance with local realities.

High schools support Vinh University in consulting with stakeholders to improve training programs and teaching quality, order training departments to design and implement a number of educational activities through projects; support student guidance during practice and experience at high schools, and expand the network to meet the training needs and pedagogical training for students.

With the current complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, through the Workshop - Training, Vinh University will help teachers of general schools grasp the "National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, orientation to 2030"; practice organizing teaching and learning with information technology platforms; practice designing E-learning lectures; guide teachers of schools to convert lesson plans into online lectures through a number of tools: Zoom, Teams, Google meet... to better perform teaching and learning activities, contributing to the successful completion of education and training tasks.

During the 3-day period, more than 300 teachers from 15 satellite high schools will listen to reports from experts on organizing teaching and learning according to the flipped classroom model and blended learning; the current status of digital transformation in high schools; instructions on converting training plans based on capacity development to E-Learning lectures; methods and techniques for designing lectures... experiencing the space for building E-Learning lectures and the online teaching system of Vinh University; practicing, reporting products and discussing.

In the coming time, along with the expansion of the satellite school network of Vinh University, it is hoped that all general education teachers in the provinces (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh), especially teachers in Nghe An province - where Vinh University is located, will be trained and access the digital transformation program, contributing to the development of education and training in the provinces, better implementing the 2018 General Education Program.
