The meeting was held to inspect and evaluate the implementation of screening tests and ensure safe conditions for Covid-19 vaccination.
In the recent past, with the strategy of zoning and widespread testing, Nghe An has basically controlled the epidemic situation. In order to continue to maintain, detect and promptly prevent the risk of spreading the epidemic, the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center has requested the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committees of districts, cities, towns and related units to deploy screening tests to detect F0 in the new situation.
On September 26, the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center also issued Official Dispatch No. 4620 providing specific instructions for each locality, frequency, method, subjects as well as testing costs... However, up to this point, the number of localities implementing the test is still very limited.
At the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh said that from September 25 to now, the whole province has recorded 34 cases of infection in 4 localities: Vinh city, Cua Lo town, Nghi Loc district andQuynh LuuThe risk of disease spreading and breaking out in the community is always latent.

The Deputy Commander of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center requested that localities in the province promptly develop a plan to implement screening according to Official Dispatch No. 4620, and report to the Center and the Department of Health before October 11.
Regarding the work of ensuring vaccination safety, the Director of the Department of Health also stated: Mass vaccination implementation, if not trained and closely monitored, will easily lead to professional-related accidents, especially in mountainous areas.
District health centers must actively participate and thoroughly train the vaccination team and post-vaccination incident handling skills. If any locality has a professional-related incident, the director of that health center must be responsible to the Director of the Department of Health./.
