Two Vinh City Police officers injured while arresting drug criminals
(Baonghean.vn) - Despite being injured, two Vinh City Police officers bravely joined their teammates to successfully capture two subjects illegally trading in drugs.
On August 7, Vinh City Police said that two soldiers were injured while on duty and are being treated at Nghe An Police Hospital.
Previously, Vinh City Police established a special project to combat and eradicate a complex drug retail hotspot in Hong Son ward.
Accordingly, at about 11:30 p.m. on August 5, 2021, at a mini apartment building (No. 15, Le Huan Street, Hong Son Ward, Vinh City), Vinh City Police proceeded to eliminate a complex point ofdrug retail, arrested 02 subjects for illegal drug trafficking.

They are two subjects residing in Vinh City, including Truong Thanh Luan (born in 1987), residing in Le Loi Ward and Nguyen Anh Phuc (born in 1990), residing in Dong Vinh Ward. The seized evidence includes 03 packages of crystal meth, 03 packages of ketamine and 36 ecstasy pills.
Of these two subjects, Truong Thanh Luan is an especially dangerous subject, with one previous conviction for illegal possession of military weapons and two previous convictions for intentional infliction of injury.

During the process of controlling and arresting, the subjects were very reckless and fought back fiercely, causing Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Huu Cuong to be injured in the right leg and Senior Lieutenant Le Van Hung to be injured in the right arm. Despite the injuries, the two soldiers were still brave enough to join their teammates in successfully capturing the two subjects. Currently, the two soldiers are being treated at the Provincial Police Hospital.
