Housing support activities for the poor in localities

*At Dong Minh hamlet, Minh Son commune, Do Luong,The Golden Lotus Charity Association of Berlin City, Federal Republic of Germany, in coordination with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Minh Son Commune, organized a ceremony to hand over a charity house to Ms. Dao Thi Ngu.
Ms. Dao Thi Ngu is in a particularly difficult situation, her family is poor, she is raising 4 children alone, her husband just passed away due to electric shock. Sharing the difficulties of her family, her children working far away from home in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany supported 50 million VND to build a charity house.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Son commune also supported 15 million VND from the "For the Poor" fund; the people of Dong Minh hamlet, Minh Son commune supported 10 million VND and the neighbors helped with dozens of working days.

*Youth Union of Nghia Loi Commune, Nghia Dan Districtorganized the groundbreaking ceremony for a charity house for Ms. Ha Thi Quyet, born in 1939, in Tan Cay hamlet.
Ms. Ha Thi Quyet is a Thai ethnic person with extremely difficult circumstances. Her husband passed away a long time ago. She lives with her daughter, born in 1962, whose husband also passed away and is currently seriously ill. A granddaughter, born in 1998, is the pillar of the family.
Due to difficult circumstances, they live in a dilapidated house. Faced with such circumstances, agencies, units, philanthropists, and friends donated more than 70 million VND to build the house. Youth Union members of Nghia Loi commune helped with labor, striving to complete the house before the Lunar New Year 2019.

* Tan Ky District Youth UnionCoordinated with Huong Son Secondary School to organize the program "Love Meal - Support to go to school".
The board of directors of Huong Son Secondary School and the Youth Union have called on organizations, individuals, philanthropists and parents to support the program with nearly 30 million VND. This money will be used to cook lunch on the second Monday of every month for students with especially difficult circumstances who live far from school. Every day, at noon, the students usually only eat rice balls, sesame salt, bread or instant noodles to wait for afternoon classes.
