Yen Thanh district locked down 90 households, raised the epidemic level to level 4 in a hamlet.
(Baonghean.vn) - Yen Thanh district has directed to raise the epidemic level to level 4 for hamlet 3, Vien Thanh commune and requested people to "not go out, not come in" to fight the epidemic.
Morning of December 8: Nghe An recorded 53 new positive cases, including 14 community cases, notably, 9 of which were community cases recorded in hamlet 3, Vien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.
Immediately after the test results were available, the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering CommitteeYen Thanh districtworked directly with Vien Thanh commune to grasp the situation and direct the epidemic prevention work. Accordingly, Yen Thanh district decided to lock down Yen Xa residential area, hamlet 3, Vien Thanh commune with 90 households and nearly 300 people.
In addition, all residents of hamlet 3, Vien Thanh commune were also tested this morning, December 8, with about 1,000 people.

Mr. Hoang Danh Truyen - Vice Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee said: "This is a relatively complicated outbreak, because among the cases, there are patients who are students, so the district has also directed to take samples for testing of students in classes 7B and 8B of the local secondary school. Currently, the locality has traced more than 100 F1 of these 9 community cases and the patients are still continuing to declare..."
Yen Thanh district also issued a new epidemic level, accordingly, Vien Thanh commune applied level 3 according to Resolution 128 of the Government, while hamlet 3, Vien Thanh commune upgraded to level 4. People in this area were required to "not go out, not come in" to fight the epidemic.
Also on the morning of December 8,Vinh Cityrecorded 3 cases of Covid-19 infection in the community in Hung Dung ward, Ha Huy Tap ward and Hung Hoa commune. Of which, 2 cases in Hung Dung ward and Hung Hoa commune are relatively complicated.
In Hung Dung ward, the patient is a freelancer, temporarily residing at 87 Nguyen Sy Que street. The locality has locked down 2 households and a boarding house with about 20 rooms and a total of over 50 tenants. Samples were taken from all residents in the area this morning.
For Hung Hoa commune, the patient is a 12th grade student of Le Viet Thuat High School, who has been attending school in person recently. The patient's mother sells at Tru market, Hung Hoa commune, so this is also an infection case with a relatively complicated epidemiology.
