Information from the districtQuy Chau: Recently, 128 F0 cases have appeared in the district. Recently, on December 1, health authorities discovered 2 F0 cases in Chau Tien commune...During the day, authorities conducted large-scale testing of related cases and discovered 29 more F0 cases, along with 426 F1 cases. Worryingly, the vast majority of F0 cases are primary and secondary school students; the source of infection is unknown, making it difficult to contain the outbreak.

Immediately after detecting the outbreak, Quy Chau district mobilized the entire political system to take action, immediately deploying anti-epidemic solutions, conducting investigations, tracing, and isolating subjects according to regulations; immediately deploying a mobile medical station located in Chau Hoi commune to admit and treat patients.

At the meeting, delegates focused on analyzing, evaluating and assessing the epidemic situation, and discussed solutions to promptly control the epidemic.

Quy Chau district needs to organize F1 quarantine at home if conditions are met according to regulations; strengthen monitoring to avoid cross-infection in quarantine areas and spreading the epidemic to the community; conduct tests for people in locked-down areas and F1s according to regulations; need to assess the epidemic situation in communes and towns, if there are suspected cases, it is necessary to consider taking pooled samples to screen the community, survey households to quickly isolate F0... Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh requested Quy Chau district to continue deploying mobile medical stations to treat asymptomatic F0s.

In the long term, Quy Chau district needs to continue to effectively implement the anti-epidemic policies and guidelines of the Central Government, the province, and the health sector; proactively develop and supplement anti-epidemic scenarios to adapt to the new situation; regularly assess the epidemic level of each commune to decide on activities in the area.
