Prosecution of group of subjects who beat up the bus company

On the morning of August 15, Yen Thanh District Police (Nghe An) issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain 4 subjects including Nguyen Van Hung (born in 1984), Nguyen Huu Ky (born in 1989), Nguyen Tri Triet (born in 1974) and Nguyen Tri Hien, all residing in Son Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for assaulting the Thanh Dem passenger bus running on the Nghia Dan route, causing the victims to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.

Previously, at around 1:30 a.m. on August 7, 2018, Nguyen Van Hung (owner of Hung Trinh bus company) invited Nguyen Huu Ky, Nguyen Tri Triet and Nguyen Tri Hien to find Thanh Dem bus running on the same route Nghia Dan - Saigon to beat it up for competing for passengers with Hung's bus company before.

When arriving at Bao Nham gas station in Bao Thanh commune, Hung's group encountered Thanh Dem's car and used sticks and knives to attack the bus conductor and the owner of Thanh Dem. As a result, Mr. Vo Tieu Long in Nghia Dan commune (Thanh Dem's employee) had to be rushed to Phu Dien General Hospital.

Although the victim's health assessment result was only 3%, given the thuggish and aggressive nature of the subjects, after many days of consolidating the case file, the investigation agency issued a decision to prosecute the above 4 subjects./.
