(Baonghean.vn) - Inspecting the election preparation work in Do Luong district, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son requested that the district have plans to manage the voting process, plans to ensure security and order, plans to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, and absolutely not be subjective.
On the afternoon of May 19, a working delegation of the Provincial Election Committee led by Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee conducted an inspection in Do Luong district.
Also participating in the inspection delegation were comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; representatives of the Department of Finance, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Health, Provincial Police, and Provincial Military Command.

Mobilize the entire political system into action
The provincial working delegation directly inspected the preparation work.electorat polling stations 2 and 5, Dang Son commune.
Through inspection, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee noted that the organizations in charge of the election have a scenario for managing the election day, closely assigning specific tasks to members.

Because the number of voters in each polling station is large, about 800 voters, and voters usually come to vote between 7:30 and 10:00, the election teams need to arrange and divide voters reasonably, both to avoid congestion and ensure good implementation of 5K; pay attention to ensuring security and order at the polling stations.
Working with the Steering Committee and Election Committee of Do Luong district, the provincial delegation acknowledged the focused direction and leadership of the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level in the election work.
The Steering Committee and the District Election Committee have issued 58 directive documents, along with the establishment of 5 election inspection teams.

From the district to the grassroots level, professional training is also focused on members in charge of elections, focusing on members of the election team related to work before, during and after election day.
Such as voting procedures; counting votes and making minutes of vote counting; forecasting some situations and preventive measures. The District Election Committee has developed an election scenario for the Election Team to implement on election day, May 23, 2021.

The negotiation work through 3 rounds is carried out democratically, in accordance with the law and ensures the prescribed structures.
After the third consultation conference, at the district level, the official list of 63 candidates for the district People's Council was finalized to elect 38 delegates. Of which, the proportion of women is 36.5%; young people 28.57%; non-Party members 11.11%; ethnic minorities 3.17%; and religious people 1.59%.
At the commune level, 1,356 candidates have been selected and officially finalized to elect 815 commune People's Council delegates. Of these, the proportion of women is 40.93%; young people 32.97%; non-Party members 21.53%; and religious people 1.4%.

Propaganda work, security assurance, social order and safety are focused and effective. The settlement of complaints and denunciations related to the election work is carried out in accordance with the provisions of law.
The district also focused on reviewing the posting of voter lists, biographies and lists of candidates throughout the district to correct errors that were pointed out through the inspection of the provincial working group in the first phase.

Proactively develop plans.
Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee requested Do Luong district to absorb the opinions of the members of the inspection team to focus on directing strongly and successfully organizing the election day on May 23.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son also suggested that the district and commune focus on directing at the grassroots level, focusing on election teams and polling stations; clearly define that members of the steering committee and election committee assigned to direct and guide in any area must be responsible for that area, focusing on weak and difficult areas and links.

Continue to review the work to complete the preparation work, from facilities, ensuring conditions such as voting booths, backdrops, speakers, rain and sun shelters, scientific arrangement of voting areas; strictly manage ballots.
Continue to review and supplement the voter list according to regulations and mobilize voters to achieve a high rate of voter turnout.

Pay attention to developing an overall plan for election day at the polling station, including a plan to manage the voting process of the election team; a plan to ensure security, order and safety; a plan to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic; absolutely do not be subjective.
The district needs to direct and thoroughly understand the election teams to firmly grasp the principles in election management, but not be rigid but flexible, ensuring the election takes place successfully in Do Luong district.
