(Baonghean.vn) - This is the opinion of voters of Xuan Lam commune, Nam Dan district (Nghe An) when meeting with voters of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation before the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly on the afternoon of May 12.

National Assembly deputies meeting voters included: Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, Member of the National Council for Education and Human Resources Development; Tran Nhat Minh - Full-time delegate of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Attending the conference were voters from the communes of Xuan Lam and Hong Long, Nam Dan district.
At the meeting with voters, the issue of History becoming an elective subject in high school continued to be discussed by voters, expressing concerns and worries. Mr. Nguyen Thac Duong - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Xuan Lam commune said that through listening and synthesizing opinions, voters and people in the area believed that History should be made a compulsory subject, not an elective subject. "Otherwise, at some point, many people may not know the history of the country," Mr. Duong worried.

Also at the conference, voters raised many issues related to agriculture, farmers and rural areas. Mr. Nguyen Van Long, a voter from Xuan Lam commune, said: After the Covid-19 pandemic, the prices of agricultural materials have increased, but the output of products is unstable. He suggested that there should be policies to stabilize the lives of people in rural areas.
The issue of the regime and policies for grassroots cadres is also a content that many voters reflect and suggest to study to have appropriate mechanisms, especially in villages and hamlets. Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dan district also suggested that it is necessary to conduct a thorough review and assessment of the effectiveness and limitations of the merger of blocks, hamlets and communes, and solutions to arrange redundant cadres and civil servants after the merger before implementing the next phase.

Also at the conference, voters of Hong Long commune gave their opinions on the progress of the Project to Preserve and Renovate the Hong Long Temple Historical Relic and Restore the Nhan Tower. This is a National Historical Relic and a very sacred place in the cultural and spiritual life of local people, a vestige of the Nhan Tower. It is known that the relic box found in the Nhan Tower is one of three artifacts discovered in Nghe An that have been recognized as National Treasures by the Prime Minister.
However, according to Mr. Pham Huu Hong in Hong Long commune, the project has been planned and announced but has not yet been implemented, affecting the lives of households within the planning area; and more importantly, the early preservation and restoration of national monuments.

Also at the conference, voters had many recommendations related to infrastructure construction, testing of production varieties, and policies for contract preschool teachers according to Decree 06;...
