Provincial leaders encourage and give gifts to epidemic prevention and control forces in Quynh Luu

On the morning of August 7, the provincial working delegation visited, encouraged, gave gifts to the key points and presented the province's Covid-19 prevention and control support fund to Quynh Luu district.

The delegation included members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province. Also accompanying was comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

The delegation visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to the centralized quarantine checkpoint at Quynh Giang Kindergarten. There are currently 54 F1 cases in quarantine here.

As of the morning of August 7, Quynh Luu district had 96 Covid-19 cases; 1,799 F1 cases; the whole district had 90 centralized quarantine areas, of which the district established the remaining 4 quarantine areas in communes and towns.

In Quynh Luu district, provincial leaders presented 500 million VND from the provincial Covid-19 Prevention Fund to Quynh Luu district to serve the work of preventing and fighting Covid-19.

Talking with leaders of Quynh Luu district, comrades Nguyen Nam Dinh and Vo Thi Minh Sinh noted that the local epidemic situation needs to focus on propaganda for people not to be negligent and subjective, and to do a good job of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.

Currently, there are quarantine areas in schools in the district, so localities need to have plans to prepare for the new school year; pay attention to mass vaccination for people; and manage well the reception of children from the southern provinces.

At the same time, we recommend paying attention to our brothers who are working on the front lines to prevent and fight the epidemic, avoid cross-infection, and take care of their health to ensure the highest safety.

The delegation also visited, encouraged and offered condolences to the family of Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chien - an officer of the Security Team of Quynh Luu District Police who died while on duty./.
