Vinh City Labor Federation organizes forum 'Enterprises for workers - Workers for enterprises'

The launching ceremony was held with the participation of representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Vinh City People's Committee, Vinh City Federation of Labor, related guests and 180 union members and workers from 4 enterprises in Vinh City.

In his speech launching the Workers' Month and the Occupational Safety and Health Month in 2022, Mr. Thai Le Cuong - Chairman of the Vinh City Labor Federation emphasized the significance of the Workers' Month and the importance of the working class in all historical periods. At present, the role of workers is decisive for socio-economic recovery after the pandemic.

One of the important highlights in the launching ceremony of Workers' Month 2022 of the Vinh City Labor Federation is the forum "Enterprises for workers - Workers for enterprises". This is the first time this forum has been held in the province, with the aim of providing businesses and workers withlisten, share,sympathy and understandingtogether to create harmonious and suitable labor relations, promoting the economy. The forum is also an opportunity for businesses and workers to exchange their difficulties, problems, thoughts and aspirations with the Party committees, authorities and relevant departments.

At the event, many questions and recommendations revolving around the issues of union member welfare, labor attraction, business recovery, union establishment, and the relationship between unions and workers were answered by representatives of the Vinh City People's Committee, Vinh City Labor Federation, and Green GMC Joint Stock Company.

At the launching ceremony, Vinh City Labor Federation presented 5 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to 5 workers in difficult circumstances. In order to encourage and motivate workers to promote their spirit.creative labor, overcoming difficulties to complete assigned tasks well, contributing to building a strong and sustainable company, Vinh City Labor Federation also awarded 5 gifts to commend workers with outstanding achievements in labor production. Within the framework of the program, there was also a lucky draw, creating an exciting atmosphere of participation among workers.

This year's Workers' Month, in addition to propaganda and orientation activities, Vinh City Labor Federation will focus on conducting surveys and visiting, giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, those who have suffered work-related accidents and occupational diseases; coordinating with professionals to organize programs.“Summer Cooling”for union members at agencies, units, and enterprises; organize cultural, artistic, and sports activities to improve the spiritual life of workers; Actively respond to the program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor...
