Vinh City authorities remind people not to go to the lake during the quarantine period.

This afternoon (April 5), at the regulating lake in Hung Loc commune (Vinh city), we noticed that the number of people coming here to exercise, walk around and fish has decreased significantly. Here, local authorities are carrying out the task of propagating and mobilizing people to comply with the regulations in Directive 16 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic.

Present at the scene to direct the functional forces on duty, Mr. Nguyen Dang Thanh - Chairman of Hung Loc Commune People's Committee said: "Grasping information about the situation of people in the city often going to the lake to exercise by walking, cycling, and fishing, from the afternoon of April 4, the ward organized 3 working groups to carry out propaganda and mobilization tasks. By this afternoon, the number of people coming here has decreased significantly."

Working groups of the People's Committee of Hung Loc commune blocked the roads around the lake, using loudspeakers to propagate the regulations in Directive 16 of the Prime Minister. At the same time, they directly mobilized and reminded people to raise awareness to limit the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic. Thanks to that, many people returned, and the lake began to become deserted.

"In the coming days, the working groups will continue to work at the reservoir. If anyone intentionally violates, we will be forced to handle them according to regulations," Mr. Thanh added.
