Conflict while drinking water, young man in Nghe An stabbed neighbor to death
(Baonghean.vn) - While sitting and drinking water at a neighbor's house, a conflict arose. Tran Dinh Luong (born in 1989), residing in Yen Thanh district, used a sharp knife to stab Nguyen Trong Vinh, residing in the same neighborhood, to death.
On May 9, Yen Thanh District Police coordinated with relevant units to establish a case file and investigate a murder case that resulted in the death of a man. The victim was Nguyen Trong Vinh (born in 1968), residing in Dong Vang hamlet, Hoa Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

According to initial information, at around 11:00 p.m. on May 8, Nguyen Trong Vinh and some neighbors were sitting and drinking water at Nguyen Cong Tinh's house when they had a conflict with Tran Dinh Luong (born in 1989), who lives in the same neighborhood.
After arguing back and forth, and being stopped by everyone, Luong went home. However, he then returned and pulled out a sharp knife he had hidden on his person and stabbed Vinh many times in the chest.
After being stabbed, Vinh tried to run from Tinh's house to the concrete road in front of the house and collapsed. The victim was then taken to Yen Thanh District General Hospital by neighbors for emergency treatment, but due to being stabbed multiple times and losing a lot of blood, he died.
After stabbing Vinh, Tran Dinh Luong surrendered to the police. Upon receiving the report, Hoa Thanh Commune Police were present to protect the scene, and at the same time coordinated with Yen Thanh District Police and related units to conduct an autopsy, examine the scene, and investigate the case.
