Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front visits and presents gifts to forces on duty at quarantine areas
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 21, a working delegation of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province visited and presented gifts at 3 centralized quarantine facilities in Vinh city and Nghi Loc district.

In Vinh city, the delegation visited and presented gifts to officers, soldiers, and medical staff performing duties at the quarantine area of Nghe An Provincial Pedagogical College (campus 1) and the centralized quarantine facility of Regiment 764.
The centralized quarantine facility of Nghe An Provincial Pedagogical College is currently quarantining 169 people, including 142 Lao students studying at vocational schools in Vietnam and 27 Vietnamese citizens.

For the quarantine facility at Regiment 764, 4 quarantine periods have been completed with a total of 745 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to officers, soldiers and medical staff on duty at the quarantine facility in Nghi Loc district. There are currently 135 citizens, mainly from Nghe An, 1 person from Quang Tri and 1 person from Ha Tinh who returned from Laos, Thailand and Myanmar and are being quarantined.

At each location, the delegation presented gifts of 10 kg of cassava starch and 10 million VND in cash. All money and gifts were contributed by businesses, individuals and benefactors through the mobilization of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
On behalf of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, comrade Le Van Ngoc expressed his thanks, shared and hoped that the officers, soldiers, police and medical staff working at the concentrated quarantine facilities would make efforts to overcome difficulties to perform well the assigned tasks, making an important contribution to the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.
In phase 2, as of July 21, 2020, Nghe An province received 4,651 (including 3,576 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad and 1,075 Lao students studying at vocational schools in Vietnam) and was arranged at 14 quarantine points.
To date, 3,877 people have completed quarantine, while the remaining 774 people are being quarantined at 9 locations in the province.
