Mr. Nguyen Khanh Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Xuan Commune People's Committee said: "As of 12 noon today, there are 5 isolated hamlets in the locality including: Xuan Hoa, Xuan Hong, Xuan Dien, Xuan Thuy and Xuan Dung. Currently, the water level is still rising very quickly."

In Thanh Mai commune, this morning, the water rose quickly and flooded the inter-commune roads. To ensure the safety of students returning home, the commune leaders mobilized the Youth Volunteer Team to the flooded areas to assist the children on their way home from school.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Secretary of Thanh Mai Commune Youth Union, up to now, the commune has many roads that are partially flooded, with fast flowing water, very dangerous for people to pass through such as: the road to Hamlet 5, Cau Tro Street, Dia Street,...

In Thanh Tung commune, Cau Loi road is currently flooded and two hamlets are deeply flooded, Yen Thanh and Minh Son. "The road from hamlet 8B to the main road of the commune has been cut off," said Mr. Phan Van Lan - Chairman of Thanh Ha commune.
